Having taken the good habit of introducing every year with a
pastoral letter orientation; we do not want to miss the rule. Thus in 1 January
2015, as a greeting, we are sending you our Pastoral Letter 2015 and wish you
- No Christian can spiritually rise above his conception of God.
- No Church can spiritually rise above his understanding of
Intimate knowledge of God is the gateway to all the favors from
Know that God is sovereign is to recognize that he is the
supreme Master, who makes the rules and manages everything.
The Sovereign God manages and controls the lives of his family
and all the events of life.
Romans 8: 28-29
"We know, however, that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to
his purpose. For whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the
image of his Son, that his Son would be the firstborn among many brethren.
This text confirms that God works with events and circumstances on time for doing
good to his people.
This text does not say that all things are good, but that all
things work together, working for the good.
Analyze the text to draw from the great wealth it enclosed.
1. All things work
together for good to them that love God.
This refers to those who love God, and not of everyone. If
someone wants the Sovereign God do work circumstances and events in his favor
for good; he must first love God.
Joseph who loved God refused to defile himself with the wife of
Potiphar, and God did work prison for his good, because that's where the
providential meeting that will take him to the glory of Egypt will be realized.
2. Who are the called
according to his purpose?
It is not those who walk according to their own designs or
projects, but according to God's plans.
This implies that it is those who acknowledge the sovereignty of
God in what He has done everything for a purpose.
They do not behave themselves, but are led by him without
complaint or resistance.
The Sovereign God makes all things work for our good, we
dispense with complaints, grudges and hatred, because we know that whatever the
situation, no one can say that something happens without God have ordered,
Lamentations 3: 37.
Joseph could not make exception; he understood before his
brothers and told them that he was not in the place of God working with events.
They had planned to hurt him, but God meant it for good to save the life of a great people.
(Genesis 50: 15-19)
"When Joseph's brothers saw that their father
was dead, they said, Joseph will hate us, and we made all the evil that we did
to him! And they say to Joseph: Thy father did command before he died, ye say
unto Joseph: Oh! Forgive the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin, because
they have hurt you! Now forgive sin God of your father's servants! Joseph wept
when they spoke. His brethren also went and fell down before him, and said, we
are your servants. Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of
God? You intended to harm me, but God meant it for good to accomplish what is
happening today, to save the lives of many people. »
Yes God had a plan with Joseph who loved him; he made all things
to work for him, and it should never be question of hatred by Joseph against
One who recognizes sovereign God glorifies and praises him for
all the things, good or bad when, as the purpose
for God is always good.
3. Those he foreknew
They are those whom God has pre- known. Yes He have known
us All in advance, Him who have created us. He
testified to Jeremiah, showing that he was known before forming in the womb of
Whoever works the events, known us in advance, and
arranges circumstances and Times. He masters allthings to
accomplish his purpose. So for Jeremiah, before he come
out of the
mother's womb, God had ordained him a prophet
to the nations. Really he is Sovereign.
4. He predestined them to
be conformed to the image of His Son
Yes these people known in advance, God predestined
to be like Christ. That is the purpose of all the work of God with all things
“produce the Son in us"
God established the Son Heir of all things (Hebrews 1: 2). Thus
it is only him who must possess the Father favors, which to participate, should
we have the Son. Now we are in nature incapable of manifesting the Son. Hence
the death of the latter becomes a sine qua non condition to achieve this. That
is to say that God uses circumstances and events to kill our flesh and free the
spirit who is the image of God to manifest Christ.
Paul recognized that if we are God's children, we are
heirs and joint heirs with Christ. That’s why he gave his life for us. But one
thing which remains is that the flesh cannot inherit with
Christ as Ismael could not inherit with Isaac. He had to leave with her mother.
And Paul concluded: "I consider that the sufferings of this
present time are not worth comparing with the glory which shall be revealed in
us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revelation of the son of
Yes the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing
with the glory of the son as the result of the work of all things from God.
Paul reconfirms that the creation waits with
eager longing for the revealing “the son of God. ". Yes when the Son is
revealed, the rest shall submit itself, where the death of me
release the spirit, the clear image of the Son.
Thus the creation itself is it released to serve the Son by his image as we
He said the son of God, not girls, as we know that two genders are on earth, simply because of what is
released, the "spirit” that is neither male nor female, such as said the
Lord, at the resurrection men will be like angels, possessing no sex.
But during that time being in the physical body we live men and
women, while spiritually we intent inherit that “Son," which we are the
true image, the spirit.
And those who are led by the Spirit of God (in their spirits) these are sons of God, who has
crucified the flesh and its desires.
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God
are the sons of God.
That is why we said at the outset that a Christian cannot rise
higher spiritually beyond his conception of God . And no church cannot climb up
spiritually if she does not understand the sovereignty of God. " Romans
What the Apostle Paul told the Ephesians can then be finally
"For we are his workmanship, created in
Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Ephesians. 2: 10
Yes us, known in advance; are his workmanship, created in
Christ, to practice the works prepared in his pre knowledge, that we should reach
that person of such works.
As long as Joseph's creative work according to the God’s
was not completed; there was no Joseph on the throne in Egypt, but Joseph in
Potiphar’s house, in prisons or in other circumstances in labor to produce one
Minister Joseph in Egypt, which was good from the Sovereign God.
Many of those who have so crisp and clear visions, but slow to
become its effectiveness, because of not always having become
the person for completion.
One is a work prepared in advance and the other, the person created
in Christ to perform this work. You see that. If we do not understand it, many
will die with unfulfilled visions in the pockets, and this will not be the
fault of the Sovereign God.
May the Lord bless you, open the eyes of your hearts, to work
with the Sovereign, and enjoy the works for which he has known us in advance.
Happy New Year 2015, a year named by the City of Refuge, a year
of Divine Sovereignty.
